38North Construction Group is grateful to have been one of two Project/Construction Managers and integral partner in the extraordinary US Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This project was a Herculean effort from everyone that worked on it and it reflects that same effort from our Team USA Olympic and Paralympic athletes every day.
Our focus was on the Retail & Café construction and tenant improvements. Working closely with SSA(Retail/Café Operator) and their team, we provided the coordination between their construction build-out and the building's Core|Shell systems and teams. This included DS&R/Design Architects and AMD/Architects.
As the project neared completion, 38N took on the implementation of an operational COVID-19 strategy. This was to allow the opening of the museum in late July 2020 and one that needed to be considerate of the building design and construction of the museum.
